There's so much cool stuff going on right now, I can barely keep up!
I am very happy that the Rockoon project is going well once again. Much thanks to John and Nick's work on it in recent weeks. We are having a meeting tomorrow to plan the future of the project. We are also working on cool logo for the project. We'll see how that turns out.
It sounds like engines are GO for getting SEDS-USA on SpaceVidcast.com in a few weeks which should be really cool. For those that don't know, SpaceVidcast is a really cool webcast that is shot live every Thursday and discusses events with NASA, space, and space travel. I play my small part by slowly transcribing episodes for them. I've been badgering Ben (who runs spacevidcast) to put the closed captions on Youtube so they can be translated to other languages. We'll see if that happens.
Rockwell is going pretty good and I'm working on a few projects at once. I also started playing in the Rockwell soccer league and tied the first game against Jill, Sonia, and Tabrina's team. We still have a lot of fun doing frisbee and Buffalo Wild Wings on Thursday afternoons.
Last night I went out to Iowa City to celebrate Jill's birthday, which was a lot of fun. Somewhat amused by the only slight effect that alcohol was having on me. Tomorrow we're all heading out with Paul Rose too to Davenport for the Quad Cities Air Show. Should be excellent, especially because I found my digital camera.
