Me on SpaceVidcast!

Who would have thunk it? I came to the realization on Tuesday this week as I was determining if I could join in my regular game of co-op/intern frisbee that frisbee wouldn't work, but that I could come up and visit the SpaceVidcasters, Ben and Cariann. So that's exactly what I ended up doing. I bee-lined for Minnesota driving as fast as legally possible to get to Watertown on time and ended up there at about 8:20, about half an hour before showtime!

Well, normally it would be 30 minutes, but Ben was having issues integrating Adam's new awesome Mac into the jumble of electronics, so they started about 20 minutes late. Anyhow, it was really fun to laugh with(/at?) Cariann in person and to see them have a good time shooting SpaceVidcast. It looks like hard work, so another thump on the back to Ben for that!

Then, I got to sit down and goof around with Cariann in the post-show as Ben tried to check out his new HD-recording plan for the show (didn't work). So, yeah it was a great time, and the thing that is happening at 35:38 in the video below is me tripping over my power cable, making my laptop fall to the floor, then falling into the table where Adam is working, breaking one of his nice ceramic coffee mugs. So, I'm really sorry Adam!! Luckily the mug was the only thing hurt in the chaos.

Heading up to my grandparents' house in Fergus Falls, MN today. Should be boatloads of fun (they live on a lake)!
